TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Chemistry Teacher. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential while developing curiosity, resilience and a passion for Science.

The school is looking to take on a Chemistry Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, assessing student progress, maintaining high standards of classroom management and working collaboratively with colleagues to raise attainment.

The successful Chemistry Teacher will have:

  • QTS with a Chemistry specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching Chemistry across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
