TeacherActive is proud to be working with a further education setting in Luton, supporting with their recruitment for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. The FE setting prides itself on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment, supporting learners academically, socially, and emotionally to help them succeed.

The college is looking to take on a proactive Learning Support Assistant on either a full-time or part-time basis from September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be supporting students across a range of subjects and abilities, providing one-to-one and small group support while helping to maintain a positive learning environment within the FE setting.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

  • Experience working within an education or support setting
  • A patient, caring, and supportive approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Experience supporting learners with additional needs is desirable
  • A flexible and proactive attitude
