Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team immediately.

Location: Birmingham
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: £90 – £110 (depending on experience)

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs—working one-to-one or in small groups to help them thrive academically and emotionally. You\’ll be collaborating closely with teaching staff to ensure every student has the best chance to succeed.

Responsibilities:

Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in and out of the classroom

Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management

Encourage positive learning behaviours and inclusion

Monitor and record student progress

Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting

A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students

Relevant qualifications or a willingness to undertake training

All applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
