We are looking for a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team at a welcoming school based in the East Riding. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning and development, both in class and on a one-to-one basis. You will help to create a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere, ensuring that every student receives the encouragement and support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with their learning, including those with additional needs
Assist teachers in preparing and delivering learning activities
Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across the school
Help to monitor and record pupil progress
Provide emotional and pastoral support where required
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:

Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting children’s education
Has good communication and teamwork skills
Can adapt to meet the needs of individual learners
Ideally holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or has equivalent experience)
