Primary HLTA Long-Term Position
Location: Huyton
Contract: Long-term, full-time
Start Date: ASAP / September 2026
TeacherActive is excited to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Huyton, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term basis.
The successful candidate will be confident supporting pupils across the primary age range and able to deliver engaging lessons and interventions in the absence of the class teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is passionate about supporting children s learning, development and wellbeing.
The successful HLTA will:
- Have experience working within a primary school setting
- Hold relevant HLTA, TA or equivalent experience
- Be confident leading whole-class learning and small-group interventions
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting pupils
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Be able to work effectively as part of a supportive school team
