TeacherActive are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary academy in Halewood to recruit a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone confident in maths and passionate about supporting young people with additional needs.

The Role

  • Monday & Friday: Delivering maths lessons to students, following a broad and engaging curriculum
  • Tuesday-Thursday: Providing Learning Support Assistant (LSA) cover across the school
  • Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom to promote progress, engagement, and positive behaviour
  • Working closely with teaching staff and the wider support team to meet individual pupil needs

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
