About the Role

We are seeking a creative and practical Design and Technology Teacher to inspire students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) on a temp-to-perm basis. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage creativity, independence, and problem-solving skills, maintain high classroom standards, and contribute positively to the wider department.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan and deliver practical, engaging curricula that foster creativity and problem-solving.
  • Maintain high teaching standards and classroom management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance department output.
  • Support student learning and pastoral development.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Design and Technology specialism.
  • Experience teaching Design and Technology up to Key Stage 4.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong practical and curriculum knowledge.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
