About the Role
We are seeking a creative and practical Design and Technology Teacher to inspire students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) on a temp-to-perm basis. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage creativity, independence, and problem-solving skills, maintain high classroom standards, and contribute positively to the wider department.
Responsibilities
- Teach Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan and deliver practical, engaging curricula that foster creativity and problem-solving.
- Maintain high teaching standards and classroom management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance department output.
- Support student learning and pastoral development.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Design and Technology specialism.
- Experience teaching Design and Technology up to Key Stage 4.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong practical and curriculum knowledge.

- A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
