TeacherActive is proud to be working with a brilliant mainstream secondary school based in Kimberley. The school is a well-subscribed secondary school with a vibrant community feel and a friendly, supportive staff-base. The school boasts fantastic facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote students' engagement, to help them flourish personally and academically.
Responsibilities
- Provide Religious Education teaching on a long-term basis for 2 days per week to cover a period of absence.
- Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including GCSE exam preparation.
- Follow and implement the schemes of learning; support students to achieve excellent results in the subject.
Qualifications
- QTS with Religious Education specialism (ECTs are also welcomed).
- Experience teaching Religious Studies up to Key Stage 4.
- Excellent classroom management.
