Are you an experienced School Finance Manager looking for a rewarding role within a specialist SEMH setting? Do you have strong financial management skills and the ability to support the smooth running of a school environment? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small SEMH provision in Kidderminster that supports young people aged 11-16. The setting has a nurturing ethos and a dedicated team who are committed to creating positive outcomes for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The provision is looking to appoint a School Finance Manager on a long-term basis with an ASAP start. The successful School Finance Manager will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the school, supporting budgeting, financial reporting, payroll administration, purchasing processes and financial compliance, while working closely with the leadership team.

The successful School Finance Manager will have:

  • Relevant finance, accounting or business administration qualification
  • Previous experience working as a School Finance Manager, Finance Officer or similar finance role
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting and financial compliance
  • Experience using finance systems and Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive and professional approach to work
