TeacherActive, one of the UK’s leading education recruitment agencies, is looking to take on a proactive and ambitious Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club Assistant to work across schools in NG12. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to pivot into a career within childcare or education, or those seeking flexible work that fits around other commitments while gaining valuable school-based experience.
The successful candidate will support children before and after the school day, helping to create a safe, engaging and positive environment through fun, creative and structured activities.
Working hours:
- Breakfast Club: typically 7.00am to 9.00am
- Afterschool Club: 3.00pm to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday
- Hours will be confirmed on the day depending on school requirements
What we are looking for:
- A Level 2 education qualification or higher
- Experience working with primary aged children
- A warm, kind and caring approach
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- An understanding of individual children’s needs
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Flexibility to take same day bookings Monday to Friday
- A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young children
