Salary: £100 - £110 per day

Can you support pupils across a range of year groups with confidence and enthusiasm? Do you have strong classroom management and the ability to engage young learners? Are you looking for a rewarding HLTA role in a supportive school environment?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in South Shields, who are looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA. This Good OFSTED rated school prides itself on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential and staff are supported throughout their journey.

The school is looking to take on an experienced HLTA on a full-time long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful HLTA will be expected to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, delivering intervention sessions and providing classroom cover when required. The Senior Leadership Team are committed to supporting the successful HLTA from day one.

The successful HLTA will have:

  • HLTA qualification or relevant experience supporting in UK schools
  • Experience working across Primary age groups
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility within the school environment
