TeacherActive are looking for an Inclusion Support Worker in Leeds to have the opportunity to work in a large South Leeds Primary. The position available is to work as a supply member of staff covering on a long-term basis, working as a 1:1 support for children with a range of SEND/SEMH needs and also taking groups of pupils out for interventions. This role is for someone with a nurturing and calming manner, who has experience of using non-verbal cues including PECS and vision cards. The school needs someone to come in and create a safe and trusting relationship, allowing the pupil to progress in their learning and development.
The position is on a long-term basis, 5 days a week, 8.45-3.30pm.
The successful TA will have:
- Experience supporting a wide range of subjects up to Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2
- Strong experience in supporting classroom management
- A range of SEND Support experience
