Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher with experience supporting students with additional needs? Do you have strong classroom management and the ability to engage secondary and Post 16 students? The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for secondary and Post 16 students with complex needs, SEMH needs, and Autism / ASD.
We are looking for a dedicated Humanities Teacher for a full‑time maternity cover role. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Humanities lessons, adapt learning to meet individual abilities and build positive relationships with students and staff. Strong behaviour management, resilience, and the ability to work within a collaborative team are essential.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- QTS with a Humanities specialism
- Experience teaching Humanities across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Post 16
- Experience working with students with SEND, complex needs, SEMH and Autism / ASD
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
