The role involves working with students who have SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviors, so strong behavior management skills are essential. The Tutor will work with young people in their homes, delivering and supporting core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science. The school provides an alternative curriculum for students aged who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education or are awaiting placement in a suitable SEN school. As a Home Tutor, a good standard of education and the ability to identify areas for improvement during 1:1 sessions are required. The position is part-time with flexible hours.
