The Local Authority is looking to appoint a Primary Home Tutor on a long-term basis from September, providing 15 hours of tuition per week.
The successful Primary Home Tutor will plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of a child with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), adapting teaching strategies to promote progress, independence and positive outcomes.
The successful Primary Home Tutor will have:
- QTS or relevant UK recognised teaching qualification
- Experience supporting primary-aged children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Experience delivering personalised or 1:1 learning programmes
