TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in South Shields, which is looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA. This Good OFSTED rated school prides itself on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential and staff are supported throughout their journey. The role is full‑time and long‑term, starting immediately.
The successful HLTA will support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), delivering intervention sessions, providing classroom cover when required and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team.
Qualifications and Experience
- HLTA qualification or relevant experience supporting in UK schools
- Experience working across Primary age groups
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
