The school is looking to take on board a highly driven higher level teaching assistant (HLTA) who will be working across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The position will be long-term leading to a permanent position in the school as a higher level teaching assistant (HLTA).

The responsibilities of a higher level teaching assistant (HLTA) will include working collaboratively with the teaching team to support subjects in the National Curriculum. You will be delivering planned interventions in subjects to support students in up-levelling the learning and development.

A successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will have:

• The relevant qualification in “supporting teaching and learning in schools” at Level 4 or above.
• An up-to-date knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• Possess knowledge of Intervention strategies.
• Be able to demonstrate a positive impact on pupil development.
• Be proactive, enthusiastic, energetic and reliable.
