Job Title: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) Location: Medway (Primary Schools) Start Date: Immediate Daily Rate: £100 – £120 (dependent on experience) Are you a confident and enthusiastic HLTA ready to take your classroom support to the next level? With flexible placements and long-term opportunities available, this is your chance to make a real difference in the classroom every single day. About the Role As a HLTA, you’ll go beyond standard classroom support — confidently stepping in to lead small groups, deliver pre-planned lessons, and even cover whole-class teaching when needed. You’ll be a vital part of the school community, working closely with teaching staff to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and progress. Whether you\’re supporting early years, KS1 or KS2, you’ll help foster a fun, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. What You’ll Be Doing Delivering lessons and interventions to small groups or whole classes Supporting the class teacher with planning and resources Helping pupils to access the curriculum and achieve their potential Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs (where required) Creating a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment What We’re Looking For HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (essential) Previous experience working in a primary school setting Confident leading small groups or whole-class sessions Positive, flexible and proactive approach A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development Must hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS check Why Work as a HLTA?
