TeacherActive is proud to be working with welcoming and supportive Primary Schools across Ashington and Morpeth. These schools are committed to providing an engaging and inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
The schools are looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA on either a long-term or short-term basis. The successful HLTA will support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2, delivering intervention sessions, supporting small groups, and providing classroom cover where required while working closely with teachers and senior leaders.
The successful HLTA will have:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience working within a Primary School setting
- Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
