TeacherActive are proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Exeter who are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dedicated team.

As a HLTA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both teachers and pupils across the school. You’ll:

Lead small group sessions and deliver planned lessons in the teacher’s absence

Support children with varying abilities to reach their full potential

Work closely with teachers to plan, prepare and assess learning activities

Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment

To be considered, you’ll need:
HLTA qualification or a minimum of 6 months’ experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
Strong understanding of the Primary curriculum
A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to different year groups and learning needs
