We are seeking a passionate Religious Studies teacher to inspire students to think critically about a range of religious, ethical and philosophical topics. The role is suitable for qualified teachers with QTS or ECTs looking to begin a teaching career in a supportive secondary school environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that promote excellent classroom behaviour.
- Encourage students to develop confidence in discussing a wide range of beliefs and ethical issues.
Qualifications
- QTS with a Religious Studies specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply).
- Experience teaching Religious Studies within a UK secondary school.
- Strong knowledge of the Religious Studies curriculum up to Key Stage 4.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching.
