The school is looking to appoint a Religious Education Teacher on a long-term basis for the first three terms of the academic year, starting in September. The successful Religious Education Teacher will be responsible for full teaching duties including planning, preparation and marking, delivering engaging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and maintaining high standards of classroom management. ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported throughout the placement.

The successful Religious Education Teacher will have:

  • QTS with a Religious Education specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching Religious Education up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Experience planning, preparing and marking student work
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
