Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £100 - £105 per day

Are you an experienced HLTA with a strong understanding of child development? Do you have the confidence to support pupils across a primary setting and deliver interventions? Are you looking for a long-term HLTA role in a supportive school environment?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Sunderland, offering a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils to thrive. The school places a strong emphasis on supporting children's development both academically and emotionally.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated HLTA on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful HLTA will be supporting across the school, delivering small group interventions and covering classes when required, with a strong focus on supporting child development and pupil progress.

The successful HLTA will have:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working within a primary school setting
  • Strong understanding of child development
  • Experience delivering interventions and supporting learning
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach
