Do you have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within an Early Years environment? TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive School in the Medway area that is seeking to appoint a Primary Teacher with strong EYFS, Nursery and SEND experience. The school promotes a nurturing and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September. The successful Primary Teacher will be working within the EYFS department, supporting Nursery-aged children, including those with additional needs such as Autism, Speech and Language difficulties and other SEND requirements, through engaging and creative learning experiences while maintaining high expectations for development and progress.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience teaching within EYFS, specifically Nursery
  • Experience supporting children with SEND, including Autism and Speech and Language needs
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A nurturing and child-centred approach to teaching and learning
