Are you a qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for flexible work in York? Would you like the freedom to pick and choose which days you work each week? Do you have a passion for supporting children throughout their early years development? TeacherActive is proud to be working with private day nurseries in York, providing welcoming and engaging environments for children aged 0-5 years. The settings are focused on creating safe, positive spaces where children can learn, develop and thrive through age-appropriate activities.
We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to work on a flexible, part-time, day-to-day basis, allowing you to choose the days that suit your availability each week. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children aged 0-5 across nursery rooms, assisting with daily routines, activities and learning in line with the EYFS.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare
- Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 years
- Flexibility to work across different nursery rooms
