TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private nursery in York that is seeking a Nursery Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The nursery provides a nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 0-5 years and benefits from a large outdoor provision that encourages exploration, creativity and active learning.
The nursery is looking to appoint a full-time Nursery Assistant on a permanent basis. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children throughout their early years development, helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment while delivering engaging activities that promote learning and development across the EYFS framework.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
- Experience working with children aged 0-5 years within a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
