The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join our successful Humanities department from the end of January, for a minimum of two terms. This is a full-time role covering Key Stages 3 to 5, and would suit a reflective practitioner with a passion for Geography and high expectations for student achievement.
The Role
- Planning, preparation and assessment across KS3, KS4 and A Level
- Delivering engaging and academically rigorous lessons
- Acting as a Form Tutor and contributing to pastoral care
- Supporting examination classes and maintaining high standards of progress and attainment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Proven experience teaching Geography up to A Level (essential)
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to excellent classroom practice
- The ability to inspire students of all abilities
- Effective organisation and a collaborative approach to working within a department
