We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in an outstanding primary school. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, from September 2026 to July 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to the pupil.
  • Promote engagement, independence and positive learning behaviours within the classroom.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, September 2026 – July 2027.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children with ASD and ADHD.
  • Previous experience within a primary school setting.
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
