The Role
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across the secondary age range
- Inspire pupils to develop confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
- Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment
- Monitor pupil progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Encourage high expectations and a strong culture of learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil achievement
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (NQT's welcome!)
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Previous experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils of different abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate, reliable and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
