TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Harrogate, who are looking to appoint a Primary Learning Support Assistant. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning, while staff work collaboratively to ensure every pupil reaches their full potential.
The school is looking to appoint a Primary Learning Support Assistant on either a day-to-day or long-term basis from September. The successful Primary Learning Support Assistant will support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers to provide classroom support, encourage pupil engagement and promote positive learning outcomes.
The successful Primary Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Experience working within a UK Primary School
- Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive and flexible approach
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
