TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive and inclusive school in Harlow, who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher on a permanent long-term basis. The school prides itself on providing a nurturing learning environment where every child is encouraged to develop socially, emotionally and academically through a tailored and child-centred approach.
The school is looking to take on a passionate SEND Teacher to support pupils with a range of additional needs. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons, adapting learning to meet individual needs and maintaining high expectations of behaviour, progress and achievement across the classroom.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Experience working with children with SEND
- Strong classroom management skills
- The ability to differentiate learning to meet individual pupil needs
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach
- A commitment to raising achievement and promoting inclusion
