We are currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive early years setting based in Harlow. This is a full-time position, with working hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm, offering consistency and long-term career opportunities within early years education.
This role is perfect for a qualified Nursery Practitioner who is passionate about supporting children’s development and delivering high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
Qualifications RequiredTo be considered for this Nursery Practitioner role, candidates must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, such as:
- CACHE Level 2/3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
- Early Years Educator (EYE) qualification
Additional requirements include:
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children aged 0–5 with their learning, play, and development
- Planning and delivering engaging activities aligned with the EYFS
- Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Following safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times
