TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely private day nursery in the Birmingham and Solihull area, where children are encouraged to feel secure, confident and ready to learn through play. The setting has a warm and supportive feel, with a strong focus on building positive relationships and helping children develop at their own pace.
The nursery is looking for a reliable Nursery Practitioner to join them on a temporary basis, with the potential for long-term or permanent opportunities for the right Nursery Practitioner. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across the Early Years age ranges, helping with daily routines, activities, personal care and creating a safe, stimulating learning environment.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (preferred)
- Previous experience working in a nursery setting
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a passion for working with little learners
- A ‘can-do’ attitude, ready to get stuck in and support the nursery’s growth
- Adaptability, with confidence working in a setting where every day is different
- A caring, patient and supportive approach with flexibility to work across different rooms and age groups
