Are you a passionate and caring Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity? We are currently seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery team based in Colchester.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm
The Role: As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing within a safe and nurturing environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting children’s learning and development through engaging activities
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Observing, assessing, and recording children’s progress
- Assisting with planning activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Promoting safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting children with personal care routines where required
- Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and physical development
- Working effectively as part of a team to maintain high nursery standards
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Childcare/Early Years
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
