Position Summary

We are looking for an English Teacher to work on a long‑term temporary basis from September, with both full‑time and part‑time opportunities available. The successful candidate will deliver engaging GCSE English resit lessons, assess learner progress, and create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging GCSE English resit lessons.
• Assess learner progress.
• Create a positive learning environment that supports students in achieving their qualifications.

Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS or a recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English to GCSE level.
• Experience supporting learners preparing for GCSE English resits within an FE or secondary setting.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, adaptable and proactive approach to teaching.
