Are you an experienced HLTA with a passion for supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4? Do you have strong classroom management and the confidence to support learning across a range of subjects? Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity in a welcoming mainstream secondary school?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Scunthorpe, who are looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA. This welcoming school prides itself on creating a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential, supported by a committed Senior Leadership Team and inclusive ethos.
The school is looking to take on a proactive HLTA on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful HLTA will be supporting students across KS3 and KS4, delivering intervention sessions, covering lessons where required, and working closely with teaching staff to ensure students remain engaged and motivated throughout the school day.
The successful HLTA will have:
- HLTA qualification or relevant classroom-based experience
- Experience supporting students within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confidence supporting students across KS3 / KS4
- A positive and adaptable approach to learning support
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
