TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Leeds that is looking to appoint a Primary LSA. The school provides a nurturing and supportive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning from the very beginning of their educational journey.

The school is looking to appoint a part-time Primary LSA on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Primary LSA will support pupils within Nursery and Reception, working closely with the class teacher to promote learning, encourage positive behaviour and provide high-quality support throughout the school day.

The successful Primary LSA will have:

  • Experience supporting children within an EYFS setting, ideally Nursery and/or Reception
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's development
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
