We are now seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join their team.
About the Role
As a SEND Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with students across the school and sixth form who have a wide range of learning, communication, sensory, physical or social needs. Your role will involve:
- Providing tailored one-to-one and small-group support
- Helping pupils engage with learning tasks and build independence
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Using visual supports, structured routines and assistive resources
- Assisting with personal care needs where required
- Creating a safe, encouraging, and respectful learning environment
- Utilising the school's outstanding facilities such as Hydrotherapy pool, trampolining room or one of their many purpose built sensory areas
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support teams
This role is perfect for someone who values relationship-based support and wants to help students aged 2–19 develop confidence and essential life skills.
