The predicted salary is between 1560 - 2080 Β£ per month.
You will play a vital role in helping pupils access education, feel safe within their learning environment, and make meaningful academic and personal progress. This role is ideal for tutors who enjoy combining academic support with pastoral care.
You may be supporting pupils:
- on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or within the whole class;
- through targeted tutoring interventions in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Functional Skills;
- across a range of settings, including mainstream schools, specialist provisions, and alternative education settings;
- with additional needs such as ASD, SLD, PMLD, SEMH, EBD, and ADD/ADHD;
- by adapting learning materials and delivery to meet individual learning styles and EHCP targets.
What Weβre Looking For
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- previous experience working as a tutor, Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or SEND support worker;
- confidence delivering academic tutoring or learning interventions, either in or outside the classroom;
- experience supporting pupils with a range of learning, emotional, and behavioural needs;
- a calm, caring, and nurturing approach;
- the ability to work flexibly and respond positively to individual pupil needs;
- tutoring experience (school-based, alternative provision, or private tutoring);
- experience working with pupils with SEND or challenging behaviour.
