The college is looking for a College Support Assistant, with full-time, part-time, short-term and long-term opportunities available. As a College Support Assistant, you will help students understand tutor instructions, break down complex tasks into manageable steps and provide 1:1 or small-group support to help students complete their assignments.
The successful College Support Assistant will have:
- Experience supporting young people or students within an education setting
- Experience providing 1:1 or small-group support
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain tasks clearly
- A patient and supportive approach to learning
- The ability to build positive relationships with students
- A flexible and adaptable approach
