TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Gateshead that is looking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher. The school is committed to providing a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential and staff are supported in their professional development.
The school is looking to appoint a Science Teacher on a part-time, long-term basis from August 2026. The successful Science Teacher will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, taking full responsibility for planning, preparation, marking and assessment while delivering engaging lessons that promote excellent progress and achievement.
The successful Science Teacher will have:
- QTS with a Science specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 within UK secondary schools
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Experience with planning, preparation and marking
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
