Are you an experienced HLTA who can confidently support pupils across the Primary age range? Do you have strong classroom management and the confidence to lead learning activities? Are you adaptable and able to support pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with welcoming primary schools in Gateshead who are looking for an HLTA to support their pupils. These schools provide positive and supportive environments where children are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning. The schools are looking to take on an HLTA for day-to-day and long-term supply opportunities from September, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2.
The successful HLTA will support teaching and learning, lead activities when required and provide effective classroom support to help pupils make progress.
The successful HLTA will have:
- HLTA qualification or relevant equivalent qualification
- Experience working within a UK primary school
- Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A flexible and positive approach
