Salary: £180 - £220 per day

Are you a qualified Employability Teacher with a passion for helping young people with additional needs prepare for adulthood? Do you have the creativity and resilience to deliver engaging employability and life skills lessons in a SEND environment? The school is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every student is supported to develop independence, confidence and the skills needed to achieve their full potential. The school is looking to appoint a permanent Employability Teacher from 24th August. The successful Employability Teacher will deliver engaging employability and life skills lessons to students with a range of SEND, preparing them for further education, employment and independent living through practical, differentiated learning and high expectations.

The successful Employability Teacher will have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience teaching employability, vocational or life skills within a UK SEND setting
  • Experience supporting children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • A positive, patient and flexible approach to teaching
