We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant on a day to day or long term basis, supporting pupils across different key stages with needs such as ASD, SEMH and learning difficulties. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be expected to provide one to one and small group support, helping to manage behaviour and promote engagement in the classroom.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND, including ASD or SEMH
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A patient and adaptable approach to support individual needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
