The school is looking to appoint a Full Time Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Full Time Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated one-to-one support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them to access learning, engage positively in the classroom and achieve their individual targets throughout the school day.
The successful Full Time Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Previous experience working on a one-to-one basis within a primary school setting
- A good understanding of Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
- Excellent communication skills
