Are you a qualified Music Technology Teacher with experience delivering Music Technology at GCSE and A Level? Are you passionate about combining practical music skills with technology to inspire students across KS3, KS4 and KS5? Are you looking to join a supportive secondary school with the flexibility to consider full-time or part-time opportunities?
The school is looking for a passionate Music Technology Teacher to join its established Music Department, working alongside an experienced full-time teacher. The successful Music Technology Teacher will join the school from September 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter, with full-time, part-time, temporary and permanent arrangements considered.
The role has a strong emphasis on Music Technology, including delivering Edexcel GCSE and A Level Music Technology and NCFE Level 2 Music Technology, alongside Music across KS3, GCSE and Eduqas A Level.
The successful Music Technology Teacher will have:
- QTS with a relevant Music or Music Technology specialism
- Experience teaching Music Technology, ideally including Edexcel GCSE and A Level
- Experience delivering Music across KS3, KS4 and/or KS5
- Strong knowledge of Music Technology and the ability to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for Music and Music Technology with strong communication and collaborative working skills
