The successful French Teacher will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that develop pupils' confidence, communication skills and cultural awareness. You will plan, deliver and assess stimulating French lessons, supporting students to achieve strong outcomes and foster a lifelong interest in languages. You will be expected to act as a positive role model, maintain high professional standards, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

The successful French Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in French, Modern Languages or a closely related subject
  • Experience teaching French at secondary level (KS3, KS4; KS5 desirable)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging language lessons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion
