Are you a fluent Welsh speaker looking to support children within a Primary School setting? Are you confident working across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2? Do you have a caring and positive approach to supporting learning within the classroom?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Neath, who are looking to appoint a fluent Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant on a full‑time basis for the new academic year. The school prides itself on creating a supportive and inclusive Welsh‑medium learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.

The school is looking to take on a proactive Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant from September 2026 to work across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will support the class teacher with classroom activities, small group interventions and pupil engagement, while promoting the Welsh language throughout the school day.
