TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Neath, who are looking to appoint a fluent Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis for the new academic year. The school prides itself on creating a supportive and inclusive Welsh-medium learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
The school is looking to take on a proactive Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant from September 2026 to work across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will support the class teacher with classroom activities, small group interventions and pupil engagement, while promoting the Welsh language throughout the school day.
The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will have:
- Fluent Welsh speaking and communication skills
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
- Experience working within a UK Primary School setting
- Experience supporting children across KS1 and KS2
