TeacherActive is currently recruiting an enthusiastic English Teacher to work in secondary schools across Pembrokeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher looking for a new challenge within supportive and inclusive school environments.
The Role
- Teach English across the secondary age range
- Deliver engaging, creative, and accessible lessons
- Support pupils in developing their literacy, communication, and analytical skills
- Prepare and deliver lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
- Monitor pupil progress and provide effective feedback
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils and encourage them to achieve their full potential
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- English specialism or relevant teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching English within a secondary school
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for English and delivering high-quality lessons
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet different learning needs
- Positive, proactive, and flexible approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
